What is your favorite thing about WWE as a company? The company culture is unlike any I’ve ever seen. We’re a very successful company comprised of great people who all appreciate and enjoy having fun at the same time.
What is your favorite part of your job? We play an important role in our local business community, offering our expertise to help small businesses handle their shipping more efficiently. Most people don’t realize how important a role shipping plays inside their company – impacting areas like accounting, customer service, sales, and operations. I’ve probably consulted thousands of companies in a variety of different industries over the past decade. Many of the solutions we’ve helped to implement for our customers are translatable from one industry/company to another. Logistics offers some unique challenges and we get to problem solve and be creative on a daily basis. We’ve become a trusted resource to our account base and it’s also interesting to learn about other companies and how they operate.
What advice would you have for someone looking to join the WWE team? There’s a belief today that the “millennial generation” is not very hardworking or disciplined. I actually tend to disagree with this statement from seeing some of the young people who have launched some very impressive carriers inside of our company. The one characteristic that you’ll find in every successful person inside our company is a strong work ethic and a desire to be the best. This type of person thrives in our environment.
What is your favorite thing about WWE as a company? I enjoy the competitive environment. Even though I am not on the sales team, it keeps everyone excited on a day to day basis. It is fun to watch our group succeed.
What is your favorite part of your job? The people I get to work with. We really have a solid team environment here. Even though everyone works independently we all come together to work as a team and help the company grow.
What advice would you have for someone looking to join the WWE team? It doesn't matter if you are in a sales or a support position, you have to give it your all. Every person has an important role. There is a lot of room for success but you have to be driven to earn it.
What is your favorite thing about WWE as a company? My favorite thing is the "Family Atmosphere" we have here. Everyone here is easy to work with and always willing to help out where they can. Even though we are a huge company, we keep that small business feel. With the competitions, and the drive to always be better than the next guy, it makes for an exciting and fun atmosphere.
What is your favorite part of your job? Favorite part of the job is the fact that I am able to learn new things about the industry on almost a daily basis. The trucking industry is a rapidly growing/changing sector of the shipping market and almost every day it seems like there is an article written up about new technology, or new ways companies are operating, etc.
What advice would you have for someone looking to join the WWE team? One piece of advice that I was told early on in this job and still holds true today, you will always get back what you put in. You can become very successful here if you're willing to put in the effort.
