Frequently Asked Questions

- What do you sell?

Worldwide Express is a national business partner of UPS and a full-service logistics company. We offer small-to-medium sized businesses shipping solutions aimed at helping them become more efficient in their processes along with reducing their bottom line expenses. We take a very consultative approach in helping our customers grow their business.

- Why work for WWE over a larger company?

Because of the opportunity! You can advance your career and compensation more quickly at Worldwide Express than you can at a huge company. At larger companies you may just be another number clocking in and out. At Worldwide Express we value every member of our team and reward hard work. You don’t have to be here for years in order to move up. At Worldwide Express, your success is based on your performance.

- What does an outside sales position with WWE entail on a daily basis?

Our Account Executives start their day in the office. While there they make phone calls to set appointments, complete pricing proposals, get new account supplies ready, etc. Then they head out to their designated territory. In the field they prospect for new business, conduct sales meetings, and activate new customers. Every day is different for our salespeople here at WWE!

- Do I need to have experience?

NO! In fact, most of our salespeople came to Worldwide Express with no previous sales experience. All new salespeople attend Basic Sales training which teaches about our business model, how to prospect, run sales meetings, and close deals. And that’s just the first training!

- What advancement opportunities are available?

Our salespeople have 2 main advancement paths: management & national sales. For those who are interested in management, we have District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager roles. Management positions involve overseeing an office, building/training a sales team, and ensuring your specific market hits goals/quotas. For those who want to stay in a sales-focused role, we have Major and National Account Executive positions. These roles focus on selling higher revenue accounts across the country that only more knowledgeable, polished salespeople would be able to handle. The best part about our advancement opportunities? We only promote from within!

- How do I apply for a position?
